Bahá’í Faith
The Bahá’í faith is often described as a mix between Islam and Eastern Mysticism. The fundamental idea is an endeavour to reach world peace and human unity. The Bahá’í movement is centred in Israel but the largest Bahá’í group is in the USA.
The Bahá’í always conduct burials. The representative of the parish or the family dresses the deceased and the funeral act is characterised by prayer, song and speeches. Often the family is active in several of the elements of the funeral.
