Cookie policy
Short version: we set no cookies to track you. Our own visitor statistics are counted without cookies and without personal data. There are, however, services on the site that come from other companies, and they set cookies if you choose to load them. That is why there is a consent box.
What is set before I have chosen anything?
Nothing. We have measured it: before you answer, zero requests go to other companies and zero cookies are set.
If you choose Only necessary, the whole website still works. You can read everything, find every office and call us as usual. The only things missing are the booking service, the death notice search, the maps and the two forms that are hosted by other companies.
Which cookies do you set yourselves?
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
enil_samtycke | Remembers what you answered about cookies, so that you are not asked again | 1 year |
| The form’s protection cookie | Protects against spam and keeps your answers if something goes wrong. It is set only when you submit the form | Expires by itself |
| WordPress login cookies | Keeps staff logged in to the editor. Does not apply to visitors | The session |
Which cookies do the other companies set?
Only once you have agreed, and only when you visit a page where the service appears.
The booking and planning service (Timecut)
Appears on the pages about planning the funeral online and booking a meeting. When it loads it also fetches Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and fonts from Google. The analytics account belongs to the supplier, not to us, and we have no access to those statistics.
| Cookie | Comes from | How long |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics, via the booking service | 400 days |
_ga_FQXEBP02ZD | Google Analytics, via the booking service | 400 days |
_gid | Google Analytics, via the booking service | 1 day |
_gat_boIclient | The booking service | The session |
The product catalogue (Fredahl Rydéns)
Appears on the page about coffins and urns and shows the whole range with pictures. It sets twelve cookies, among them Google Analytics, a Facebook pixel and cookies from YouTube. The images are fetched from Sanity and Amazon, and the fonts from Adobe.
The memorial donation form
Appears on the page about memorial donations. It brings with it cookies from the supplier, from Microsoft Clarity and from Bing. Clarity records how you move around the page. That is one of the reasons nothing loads before you have said yes.
Registering for a memorial reception
It is hosted by the same supplier as the memorial donations and loads on the same terms.
The maps on the office pages
They come from Google and load only if you click the map. The address is always given as text, and there is an ordinary link to directions, so you never need to load the map to find us.
How do I change my mind?
Click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page and the box comes back. Withdrawing consent should be as easy as giving it.
You can also clear cookies in your browser’s settings, usually under Privacy. There you can block third party cookies entirely as well.
Why is the list so detailed?
So that you can see exactly what happens, rather than just read that we “care about your privacy”. The cookies above were measured in a browser on this website, not copied out of the suppliers’ documentation.
