Privacy policy

We collect as little as possible, and never more than your enquiry requires. This page describes exactly what happens to your information when you use the website.

Who is responsible for the information?

E Nilssons Begravningsbyrå AB, company registration number 556522-8276, Nygatan 30, 352 31 Växjö. You can reach us on 0470-122 27 or at info@e-nilssons.se.

What do we collect when you fill in the form?

Only what you enter yourself: your name, telephone number, email address if you give one, which office you have chosen and your message. Depending on what your enquiry is about it can also be what time suits for a call, which products you are asking about, or the name of the person who has died when you register for a memorial reception.

We use the information for one thing only: to answer your enquiry. It is not used for marketing, it is not sold on and it is not passed to anyone else.

How long is it kept?

An enquiry is sent to us as an email and is at the same time stored in the website’s database as a backup, so that no enquiry is lost if an email gets stuck. After one year it is automatically deleted from the database. If you want us to remove it sooner, get in touch and we will.

Do you use Google Analytics or anything similar?

We do not do so ourselves. We measure visits directly on our own server and send nothing to any third party. The measurement uses no cookies and stores no personal data.

A visitor is counted through a coded value built on a random number that changes every day. That makes it impossible to follow a person from one day to the next, or to work back to an IP address.

The statistics are kept for 400 days and show things like which pages are visited and which town our office pages are read from.

The services we embed, however, do. The booking service and the death notice search come from other companies, and when you load them they in turn fetch Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Matomo and Bing. Clarity records how you move around the page. That is their measurement, not ours, and we have no access to it. None of it loads before you have said yes. Exactly which cookies are involved is set out in our cookie policy.

Content from other services

Several pages carry content that is hosted by someone else: the booking service, the death notice search, the maps on the office pages and two forms. None of it loads before you have answered the question about cookies. If you choose Only necessary, nothing is ever fetched from them, and the website still works. You can change your mind at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. Which cookies each service sets is listed in our cookie policy.

Information during an ongoing engagement

If your enquiry becomes an engagement with us, we process more information than you gave in the form, for example about the person who has died and about the estate. That is governed by our agreement with you and by the laws covering estate inventories and funeral services. Do ask us about this at the meeting and we will go through what applies in your case.

Your rights

You have the right to know what information we hold about you, to have incorrect information corrected, and in many cases to have it erased. Contact us and we will help you. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled the matter, you can turn to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.
