Coffins and urns
There is no right or wrong when choosing a coffin. Most of the time you want it to say something about the person lying in it. We show you the whole range, tell you what each model costs, and let you take the time you need.
The whole range, with pictures
Here you can see everything we can order, straight from our supplier’s catalogue. The catalogue shows no prices. Our prices are further down this page, and on the page about what a funeral costs.
The catalogue comes from our supplier
It shows the whole range of coffins and urns with pictures. If you load it, cookies are set on your device, among them Google Analytics and a Facebook pixel. If you would rather avoid that, call us and we will go through the range together.
What does a coffin cost?
Our coffins cost between 6 995 kr and 15 450 kr. The price is set by the material and the finish, not by how fine the funeral will be. You can see the whole range with pictures in the catalogue further up the page.
What is included with the coffin?
All our coffins have a fabric lining. Even the simplest models have a mattress, a pillow and a cover with a cotton top sheet. The more exclusive models also have detailing on the lid and the side panels. So you do not need to add anything for the coffin to be complete.
Can we choose the colour of the coffin?
Yes. The Akvarell range comes in white, black and blue. The blue one is called Azur. Many families choose the colour after something the person was fond of, and that is often what makes the coffin feel right.
Urns
With cremation you choose an urn instead of a coffin. The range comes from the same supplier and runs from simple, biodegradable urns for a memorial grove to urns in wood and metal for an urn grave. Call us and we will go through what suits the grave you have chosen, and what it costs.
An urn burial gives more flexibility in time and place than a coffin burial, needs less grave space and often costs less. A coffin burial, on the other hand, is felt by many to be more traditional.
