Accessibility statement
Anyone looking for a funeral director is rarely at their best. The website should not be another obstacle. We have built it to work with a screen reader, with the keyboard alone, with enlarged text and on a poor connection.
What we have done
- We follow WCAG 2.2 at level AA as our benchmark.
- Text and background have checked contrast, including white text over photographs.
- Everything can be reached with the keyboard, and it is clearly visible where the focus is.
- Click targets are at least 24 by 24 pixels, and in practice usually larger.
- Error messages in forms are written out in text, not signalled by colour alone.
- Images have alternative text describing what they show.
- Links that open in a new window say so in advance.
- The pages work without JavaScript, including the contact form.
What is not fully accessible
We would rather be honest than claim that everything is perfect. These are the things we know about:
- PDF documents from associations and suppliers are not produced by us, and not all of them are adapted for screen readers. If you need the content of such a document, call us and we will read it aloud or send it in another format.
- The memorial donation form and the maps come from other companies. We do not control how they are built.
- Those services are also only available in Swedish, along with the death notice search, the online planning tool and the coffin catalogue. Call us and we will go through the content with you in English.
- Older images carried over from our previous website may have brief alternative text.
If something does not work
Get in touch and we will sort it out for you straight away and fix the fault. Call 0470-122 27 or email info@e-nilssons.se. You never have to wait for a technical fix to get help from us, we will take your matter over the phone just as gladly.
