The headstone is what remains when everything else is over. There is no right or wrong in the choice. What feels right to one family can feel completely wrong to another, and you have plenty of time.

When does the stone need to be ordered?

Not straight away at all. The headstone is usually set some time after the funeral, once the grave has settled. Many families choose to wait a few months, and that is perfectly fine. Deal with it when you feel ready.

What does a headstone cost?

The price depends on the stone, the size, the shape and how much text and decoration you want. We prepare a proposal with a price before anything is ordered, so that you can see what each part costs. If you want a rough figure to work with, call us and we will give you one straight away.

You already have a grave in the family

If there is already a stone on the family grave, what is usually needed is a name and dates added to it, not a new stone. Get in touch and we will look at what can be done with the stone that is there.

What text and symbol should go on the headstone?

That is for you to decide, and there is no hurry. Many choose the same symbol or verse as in the death notice. Feel free to browse here, and we will bring what you like along when we prepare the proposal. The verses are in Swedish.
